Here in the little movie, they are expressing their woes that I will not go with them to Leeds castle (1.5 hrs away) until exams are over and we have finished our big papers.  We have decided that we will go together after the last exam.  The women in the film are from Turkey and the men are from Tunisia.

Softball in London!

We, the Finsbury Dazzlers, had our first friendly game on Monday. It is a lot of fun to play the oh-so-exotic game of softball in London. Passersby constantly stop to stare at us and often you can see them trying to explain the game to each other.
The other day while shopping for the right height of cleats for Kevin, I kept saying, "Softball" to the sales-guy and showing him mine. He kept saying, "Yes,. soccer-ball." After a few times I conceded and said, "Yes soccer-ball.. thanks."

Above, we are enjoying a Moroccan meal with Stefano and other work friends.

The next eve we played a few games of The Princes of Florence (excellent game) for about 3 hrs with Joe Rice, who is visiting from NY.
