Kev and I had a great time in Edinburgh. We took an excellent underground tour, toured the Edinburgh castle, (I) played in the Edinburgh softball tourney with the Muppets, saw a few plays at the Edinburgh festival, and ate some excellent food- many baked potatoes from this great little vegetarian baked potato shop. For the topping, I opted for mixed vegetables 'mexican' and avocado, whereas Kevin liked spicy hummus and cole slaw. The festival made the trip very interesting- above is an 'ice cream' truck- made out of all cardboard. It was a functional art installation. They sold ice cream cones,. but instead of ice cream, it was a very realistic drippy glue and cardboard for the cone.

London Zoo
Kevin and I had a great time at the sunny and humid London Zoo.
My favorite was the Himalayan Newt from the Indian subcontinent. Kevin was eventually able to pull me away to appreciate the 'Food' tidbit for one nearby tree frog.
The scorpion was totally hidden in the dark until you pressed the blacklight button- and then it glowed brightly. When I think back to my scorpion-ridden apartment in Arizona, I can't help but to think that if I lived in the Southwest again, I'd have a blacklight on a clapper.
The monkey picture is taken via Panasonic Lumix through a mini set of binoculars.
